This is a photobook by South Korean photographer Oksun KIM. By photographing the trees of Jeju Island, a popular volcanic island tourist destination in South Korea, as if they were human portraits, she attempts to re-examine the island from a natural perspective. Through a fleeting moment of light―that is, through her gaze―these trees become eternal records, and their understated charm will give us a reason to pause and reflect.
