Print House Session is a project in which four printing companies and four designers team up to create four different art books for one artist. This is the second installment, following on from 2019, and is based on Okuyama Yoshiyuki's Windows (AKAAKA Art Publishing, 2023). It features an innovative cutting edge. This book is a version by Taiwanese book designer Aaron Nieh and Yamada Photo Factory. The binding is designed with the two sides of a glass window in mind, and the book design allows the story to be told whether the book is folded to either the blue or white side, with the binding bound with two threads. The knots in the binding thread are designed in such a way that the blue thread is visible on the blue side and the white thread is visible on the white side.
Print House Sessionは、4つの印刷所、4人のデザイナーがそれぞれチームを組み、1人のアーティストのアートブックを4種類作るというプロジェクト。2019年に続く今回が第二弾であり、奈山由之の『Windows』（赤々舎、2023）を題材にされた。斬新な形の切り口が特徴である。 本書は台湾のブックデザイナーAaron Niehと山田写真製版所のバージョン。ガラス窓のこちら側と向こう側を意識された装丁で、2本の糸で緎じられた束を青い面、白い面、どちら側に折り曲げてもストーリーが成立するブックデザイン。緎じられた糸の結び目が青面では青い糸が、白面では白い糸が見えるように細部まで設計されている。
