This is Issue 21 of *A Magazine Curated By*—a Belgian concept magazine that invites fashion designers to serve as guest curators, exploring their aesthetics through visuals and editorial content—curated by Lucie and Luke Meier, the creative directors of Jil Sander.
"When we began discussing the concept for this magazine, we immediately decided to focus on 'nature'—specifically the relationship between 'human nature' and 'Mother Nature.' These are concepts that play a central, prominent role in our daily lives, and we felt it was important to embrace both of them in this issue."
The focus on the artists' workspaces (creative environments)—and not just their finished works—reflects the Meiers' philosophy of centering on the natural roots of things.
The cover features a 3D scan of handmade *washi* paper with a floral pattern from the Noto Peninsula, printed on Italian "Lenza" recycled paper, and is bound using a Codex binding style. This issue also marks the debut of the "MEIER" typeface designed by the duo; a sans-serif font derived from the lettering "CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA" found on a 1948 Swiss five-franc coin, it underpins the atmosphere of the entire publication.

「この雑誌のコンセプトについて話し合い始めた時、我々はすぐに『自然（nature）』、特に『人間（Human Nature）』と『母なる自然（Mother Nature）』との関係に注力することに決めました。これは日常的に中心的かつ前面に出てくる概念であり、本号でその二つを受け入れることが重要だと感じたのです。」
アーティストたちの、作品だけでなくワークスペース(制作環境)にフォーカスしているのにも、物事の自然なルーツに焦点を当てる、彼らの考え方を感じさせる。
能登半島の花模様の手製和紙を3Dスキャンし、イタリアの紙「ランザ（Lenza）」再生紙に印刷した表紙、製本はコデックス層。またこの雑誌で初めて彼らによる書体フォントMEIERフォントが公開。スイスの1948年の5フラン硬貨に刻まれた「CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA」の文字から派生しているサンセリフ体が、本書全体の雰囲気を支えている。
